Whenever possible, Dr. Fisher uses minimally-invasive and robotic surgical approaches to speed up post-operative recovery and shorten time spent in the hospital.
From the provider:
“My goal is to provide each patient with an individualized approach to their cancer treatment. I spend time during each visit to explain all treatment options, including non-surgical treatments, and the risks and benefits associated with each treatment approach.
Since every patient is different, and every cancer is different, I counsel patients in a manner that incorporates a patient’s unique tumor biology, the anatomy of their tumor, as well as individual patient preferences, beliefs, and life circumstances. This approach allows me to partner with my patients in making the right decisions for their cancer treatment. When necessary, I work closely with cancer doctors in other specialties, including medical oncology and radiation oncology, to ensure that patients receive state-of-the-art cancer treatment across all disciplines.”
