Aline Iskandar, MD

Dr. Iskandar earned her medical degree from the University of Southern Denmark. Her postdoctoral training includes an internship in internal medicine, surgery, and family medicine, a residency in radiology at Odense University Hospital in Denmark, a residency in internal medicine at the University of Connecticut Health Center, and a cardiology fellowship at University of Massachusetts Memorial Medical Center. Dr. Iskandar specializes in comprehensive cardiology care with a special interest in non-invasive advanced cardiac imaging. She is board certified in internal medicine, cardiology, nuclear cardiology, echocardiography, cardiac CT, and diagnostic medical sonography.

After completing her fellowship, she joined the faculty at Maine Medical Center and worked as a cardiologist with MaineHealth for almost seven years. During this time, she was also an active member of the Tufts University School of Medicine faculty. Her research has been featured in renowned medical publications such as Circulation, Journal of the American College of Cardiology, American Journal of Medicine, and more.
