About Aloysius Rho
Aloysius Rho is a gastroenterologist with over 20 years of experience. Prior to joining Mercy Hospital, Dr. Rho served as a clinical instructor of medicine at University Hospital, the principal teaching hospital of Rutgers University in Newark, NJ. He was also an attending physician in the Department of Gastroenterology at Penn Medicine Princeton Medical Center in New Jersey.
Dr. Rho attended medical school at SUNY Health Science Center in Brooklyn, New York after completing his undergraduate studies at Wesleyan University in Middletown, Connecticut. He completed his internal medicine residency at Beth Israel Medical Center in New York before being fellowship trained in gastroenterology at Rhode Island Hospital, the teaching hospital of The Warren Alpert Medical School of Brown University.
Outside of the office, Dr. Rho is an avid hiker and runner, having competed is several marathons and half marathons.
