About Ari Berman
Dr. Berman was born and raised in Cape Elizabeth, Maine. He graduated from the University of Pennsylvania and received his medical degree from the Boston University School of Medicine. Dr. Berman completed his internship, residency, and chief residency in Internal Medicine at Boston Medical Center.
Dr. Berman is board certified in Internal Medicine and began his career in Western Massachusetts working as a hospitalist and a primary care physician. From 2013 to 2022, he practiced with Southern Maine Geriatrics Associates at which point the practice transitioned to Northern Light Geriatrics. Clinically, he works as Medical Director and Attending Physician at Gorham House Nursing Facility and the Barron Center.
He currently serves on the Ethics committee at Mercy hospital. His clinical interests include palliative and hospice care as well as the primary and rehabilitative care of the geriatric population.
Dr. Berman lives in Cape Elizabeth with his wife and family.
