About Ariel Fredrick
Dr. Fredrick grew up in Buffalo, New York. She completed her undergraduate degree at New York University with a major in music and minor in chemistry. After spending a year teaching English in France, she obtained her medical degree and graduated cum laude from the State University of New York at Buffalo. She completed her urology residency training at Lahey Hospital and Medical Center in Burlington, MA.
Dr. Fredrick is Board Certified by the American Board of Urology and is a member of the Alpha Omega Alpha medical honor society. She has published several papers in medical journals and presented research at regional and national meetings related to kidney cancer, prostate cancer, and urethral stricture disease.
Dr. Fredrick’s clinical interests include kidney stones, urologic cancers, and male and female voiding dysfunction. She performs minimally invasive/robotic surgery as well as no-scalpel vasectomy.
In her free time, Dr. Fredrick enjoys endurance running and cycling, hiking, sailing, gardening, and exploring the outdoors. She lives in southern Maine with her husband and pets.
