About Arlene C. Damon
Circe A. Damon is a nurse practitioner who has been in Oncology since 1993. She started her nursing career as an RN at Northern Light Mercy Hospital where she assisted in the development and growth of the Cancer program from 1993-2000. She furthered her career becoming when a nurse practitioner in 2000. She continued her career in multiple oncology settings and was thrilled to be able to return to the Northern Light Mercy Cancer program in 2019 through the New England Cancer Specialists Collaborative.
She is committed to providing comprehensive compassionate care to patients with a Cancer or benign Hematology diagnosis and to their families. Circe is deeply devoted to partnering with her patients in meeting goals, maintaining quality of life throughout the cancer experience. She has an interest in survivorship services.
A Maine native from Waterville, she has been in Portland since 1981. She has two grown daughters, both public school teachers. She loves animals and is looking forward to being a grandmother soon.
She travels, having enjoyed trips to the West Coast, Peruvian Amazon, and Machu Picchu. A Lover of Greek mythology, she has plans to travel to Greece.
