Behnoosh Dashti, MD

Dr. Dashti is excited about living and working in Presque Isle. She joins her husband who practices as an orthopedic surgeon at AR Gould Hospital. Their family chose Presque Isle for the quality of life of living in a small town, and find it is very fulfilling for to have more human touch with patients, she believes this importance is easier to attain in a small community than in a metropolitan area. She is a nature lover and being surrounded by beautiful lakes and trails in Aroostook county is a great source of pleasure and inspiration to her.

In her free time she enjoys spending time with her family. They have two children and their pet dog. Her main hobbies are reading, yoga, and water sports like swimming, paddle boarding, and kayaking.
