About Benjamin Huffard
Dr. Benjamin Huffard is a board certified, fellowship-trained orthopedic surgeon specializing in arthroscopic surgery of the hip, knee, and shoulder. Conditions frequently treated include hip labral tears, hip impingement, proximal hamstring tears, meniscal tears, ACL injuries, patellar tendon and quadriceps tendon ruptures, rotator cuff tears, shoulder instability surgery, and clavicle fractures.
Dr. Huffard completed his undergraduate degree at Lehigh University, and his post-baccalaureate premedical program at Yale University. He received his medical degree from Yale School of Medicine and followed with an internship in general surgery at New York Hospital. Dr. Huffard then completed his residency in orthopedic surgery at the Hospital for Special Surgery in New York City. He also did a fellowship in sports medicine in Vail, Colorado.
Dr. Huffard is a member of the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons and is certified by the American Board of Orthopaedic Surgery.
