About Diane Stoller
Diane K Stoller MD, FACS is a board-certified breast surgeon, with more than 28 years of experience. She was born in Chadron, Nebraska. Diane lived in Cali Colombia for three years during elementary school with her family and learned to speak Spanish. She received her Doctor of Medicine from the University of Missouri. Afterwards, she relocated to the Minneapolis area where she completed her surgical training and practiced for 25 years at the NAPBC-accredited Piper Breast Center. She joined Northern Light Mercy Breast Care in October 2016 and contributes a wealth of knowledge and experience to the practice. She is an experienced participant in several quality initiatives already in place at Northern Light Mercy Breast Care, such as the Nipple-sparing Mastectomy Registry and the Mastery of Breast Surgery QCDR Registry. After joining Northern Light Mercy Breast Care, Diane obtained her certification in Genetic Cancer Risk Assessment and has set-up the High-Risk Breast Program at Mercy Hospital Breast Care. She consults with patients that have been identified as possible high risk due to their family history of cancers such as: breast, colon, ovarian and/or pancreas. She also sees the genetics consults for the breast patients. Maine has been a great fit for her hobby of biking, and she has been learning to sail. She loves to cook, bake, quilt and knit. She and her goldendoodle, Rossi, have both retired from many years of running due to aging joints but still enjoy morning walks on the beaches of Portland. When Diane was still a runner, she completed 3 full Ironman triathlons and 21 marathons. She has three adult children who all live and work in different parts of the country.
