A successful patient-provider relationship begins with open honesty and trust of both parties. My practice philosophy is to approach a patient’s health in a patient-provider collaborative approach. A preventative, treatment, or chronic management plan needs to be suitable for both the provider and patient in order to be successful; therefore, I believe the patient’s beliefs and needs are essential to a developing a meaningful relationship.
