About James Fullwood

Dr. Fullwood is a 2004 graduate of Johnson C. Smith University, Charlotte, NC. He completed his medical graduate studies at Rosalind Franklin University of Medicine and Science in Chicago, Illinois, and completed a three-year foot and ankle surgical residency with a major focus in foot and ankle reconstruction and diabetic limb salvage at Mercy Hospital (Allina Health Systems) Minneapolis, Minnesota. AO podiatry mini fellowship graduate. Dr. Daniel Hanley Advanced MacAfee Fellow graduate. Current doctoral candidate at the world renown Purdue University Global. Dr. Fullwood is a Diplomat of the American Board of Foot and Ankle Surgery and Diplomat of the American Board of Podiatric Medicine and Surgery. He holds added credentials for wound and Limb Preservation.

Dr. Fullwood is the former Chief of Staff at Sebasticook Valley Health. He is current president of the Maine Podiatric Medical Association and International Limb Salvage Foundation “Nigeria/USA”. Lastly, Dr. Fullwood serves as an advisor to the Northern Light Health Systems Medical Group, and physician member of the Northern Light Health Board of Directors.

Dr. Fullwood enjoys teaching students and residents and currently is an associate clinical professor of surgery and biomechanics at Western University of Health Sciences. He is both a national and international speaker concerning Podiatry, health policy and rural health development both in West Africa and the United States.
