Jenifer McKenney, NP

Jenifer is board certified by the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners, as a family nurse practitioner. She has been providing women’s healthcare services to the women of Eastern Maine for more than 10 years. 

She received a Bachelor of Arts degree in psychology from the University of Southern Maine in 1999.  After this, she spent time working with adolescent girls, in a group home setting. In 2003, she graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in nursing from the University of Maine. She worked at Northern Light Eastern Maine Medical Center as a medical/surgical nurse for seven years before becoming a labor and delivery nurse. She graduated with a Master of Science degree from Husson University, as a family nurse practitioner in 2012 and has been practicing women’s health ever since.

Jenifer has a passion for providing comprehensive care to women of all ages. She provides routine gynecologic exams, prenatal care, contraceptive management, treatment of vulvovaginal conditions, abnormal pap smears, irregular menstrual bleeding, PCOS, and menopause management.

In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her family and attending her children’s various sporting events. She also enjoys cooking, shopping, and interior design.
