About Kathleen Forti-Gallant
Kathleen Forti-Gallant has been a Nurse Practitioner for over 20 years and hascared for all types of orthopedic patients for 40 years. She collaborates with the orthopedic surgeons to provide comprehensive care to our patients including assisting with surgery. She has also worked in pain management, neuro, rehab, med-surg, and case management and loves her roll caring for patients!
Kathleen received her associates degree in nursing from the University of Maine in Augusta, bachelor's degree from the University of Maine at Orono, and master's degree in the Family Nurse Practitioner program at Husson University. She completed her Doctorate in Nursing Practice through Walden University.
Kathleen is on the legislative board and co-chair of the Maine Nurse Practitioner Association. She developed a secondary fracture prevention program for osteoporosis patients with a statewide team as this is an important issue for Mainers to prevent broken bones.
