About Khalil Kamar
Dr. Kamar earned his medical degree from the Faculty of Medical Sciences at Beirut Arab University in Lebanon. He completed his internship at Beirut Governmental University Hospital and Sahel General Hospital in Lebanon, an internal medicine residency at both Beirut Governmental University Hospital
in Lebanon and Northwell, Staten Island University Hospital. Dr. Kamar completed his training through a hematology/oncology fellowship at SUNY Downstate Medical Center in Brooklyn. He is certified in internal medicine and board eligible for certification in oncology and hematology.
Dr. Kamar specializes in the diagnosis and treatment of solid tumors using chemotherapy, targeted therapy, immunotherapy, and hormonal therapy, and treats individuals with malignant and noncancerous blood disorders, including:
