Kristin Farrand, NP

Kristin Farrand is board certified as a family nurse practitioner. She received her undergraduate degrees from the University of Southern Maine in Social Work (2008) and Nursing (2011). She received her Family Nurse Practioner MSN degree from the University of Southern Maine in 2016.

As a nurse practitioner she worked in family medicine before transitioning to palliative care in 2022 and joined the Northern Light Mercy Palliative Care team in 2024. She has special interest in palliative care as she enjoys building relationships with patients and helping them identify their goals of care with focus on improving their quality of life. In her free time she enjoys spending time with her daughter and dog, particularly enjoying outside activities together.
