Lynn McGrath, MD, is a neurosurgeon specializing in minimally invasive and complex spine surgery. He specializes in leading-edge minimally invasive, motion-sparing, and endoscopic spine surgical techniques.

Dr. McGrath is internationally renowned as an innovator developing AI-driven diagnostic tools, earning the 2019 “Innovator of the Year” award from the Congress of Neurological Surgeons. He served as a neurosurgeon consultant for the National Football League, and he has delivered more than 50 invited lectures around the world about advanced minimally invasive spine surgery techniques and leading-edge diagnostic methods for concussion and traumatic brain injury.

Dr. McGrath received his bachelor’s degree from Dartmouth College and his medical degree from the University of Central Florida. He completed his residency in neurological surgery at the University of Washington, followed by a fellowship in minimally invasive and complex spine surgery at Weill Cornell Medicine in New York City where he served as an assistant professor before relocating to Maine.
