About Meredith Marcincin
Dr. Marcincin earned her medical degree from the University of New England College of Osteopathic Medicine in Pennsylvania, She was appointed chief resident and served as an attending physician for th residency program following completion of her training. Dr. Marcincin met her husband, a Bangor native, while in medical school, and they returned to the state of Maine soon after welcoming their first child. After spending a few years in Damariscotta, they decided it was tie to move to northern Maine to be closer to family and friends. Dr. Marcincin finds the field of eye care particularly fulfilling due to the ability to care for patients for years, even decades, as well as provide care to multiple generations of families. As an osteopathic doctor, Dr. Marcincin's training was holistic in nature. Her practice of medicine centers around the human element, and she considers her patients' overall health and wellbeing in addition to their specific medical needs. She is thrilled with her experiences in the hospital, office, as well as the region thus far and looks forward to raising her family in the county and serving the community.
