Nicole Carter, NP

Nikki grew up in the state of Maine and graduated from the University of Maine in Orono, with a bachelor’s in animal veterinary science with a pre-med minor. Her previous hope of becoming a veterinarian was altered when she found a love for serving others through the medical field. She returned to the University of Maine for her second bachelor’s degree, this time in nursing and graduating Magnum Cum Laude.

After 14 years serving at Northern Light Eastern Maine Medical Center on the medical/surgical floor, Endoscopy, Wound and Ostomy, and the Recovery unit, she returned to school and obtained her AGACNP from Husson University with high honors.

She believes in holistic treatment of the patient and approaches each person as an individual.
