About Pearl Princess Uy
I was born in Manila, Philippines and obtained my nursing degree from Silliman University (Philippines). I also attained my medical degree at University of Santo Tomas Faculty of Medicine and surgery (Philippines). I completed my Internal Medicine residency at University of Connecticut and its affiliate Saint Francis Hospital and Hartford Hospital. I finished my Gastroenterology fellowship at Augusta University and its affiliate Charlie Norwood VA Hospital.
I have over seven years experience performing endoscopic procedures including radiofrequency ablation of Barrett’s esophagus and treating patients with gastrointestinal disease. I am a member of the American College of Gastroenterology and am board certified in internal medicine and gastroenterology. I enjoy traveling and exploring different food cuisine with my husband.
