About Peter Arabadjis
Dr. Peter Arabadjis and his wife grew up and attended college and medical school in Upstate New York. He went to Chicago for his Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation/ Physiatry residency. They chose to move to Orono, Maine 25 years ago to raise their children and practice medicine. They enjoy the natural opportunities of Maine including hiking, biking, sailing, cross country skiing, and snowshoeing often accompanied by their Chesapeake Bay Retriever.
The focus of physiatry is returning or at least maintaining function despite life’s health challenges. Dr. Arabadjis enjoys assisting patients in developing a new normal following injuries, age related changes and medical events such as strokes or spinal cord injuries. He is board certified in physiatry with additional certification in electrodiagnostic medicine and pain.
