William Wood, MD

Dr. Wood is an experienced Otolaryngologist who earned his medical degree from the University of North Carolina School of Medicine in Chapel Hill. He is now the lead physician at Northern Light Ear, Nose, and Throat Care for Northern Light AR Gould Hospital in Presque Isle, Maine.

Dr. Wood is committed to safe patient care as well as bringing new ideas and technology to both pediatric and adult patients of Northern Maine. He is board certified by the American Board of Otolaryngology. He likes to provide local options for procedures such as Tonsillectomies, Adenoidectomies, Sinus surgery, and skin cancers of the head and neck.

Dr. Wood enjoys spending time with his family, hiking, ice climbing, and all outdoor activities winter and summer, as well as literature and performing arts.
